Every rider’s record, free of charge.

Kitesurfing has certification bodies that charge riders, instructors and schools at every step and still cannot tell you what a level means from one beach to the next. Sesh ID exists to be the opposite: an independent registry where a lesson signed by the school that taught it is the only currency.

1. 1Certification is free. For everyone. Always.A rider never pays for a level, a certificate, a card, a renewal or a check. A school never pays to verify a rider. There is no exam to buy and no membership to keep up.
2. 2A level can never be bought.Levels come only from a school that taught the lesson: signed in its own system or confirmed by hand in its Sesh ID dashboard. No payment, listing or partnership changes a level, a rating or a count.
3. 3Independent of any school, brand or system.Sesh ID is built by the team behind SeshDash, but any booking system can connect for free through the open connector, and any school can verify riders without one. Gold means a live signed feed, whoever provides it.
4. 4One open ladder per sport.The twelve levels per sport are public, versioned and free to use. Schools keep their own course names and map them once. IKO, VDWS and other steps are listed as equivalents, never as a requirement.
5. 5Riders own their record.Private by default, shared only with the rider’s consent, exportable in one click, deleted in one click, with every source told to stop. Under-16 passports stay private until a parent confirms.
6. 6Paid means exposure, never trust.What can cost money: a public school page with reviews and a pin on the map, featured listings, clearly labelled partner content. What can never cost money: verification, the check, the passport, the certificate.
